More Breathing Meditation

Just like a marathon runner, knowing your optimum beathing patterns for certain goals will aid in achieving those meditative goals. The runner has trained themself in several different breathing techniques that are best for different parts of the race. Each breathing pattern assists the body in a specialized segment of the race. For example, runners have different breathing techniques for uphill, downhill, and flat portions of the race.

You must also develop varied breathing techniques for the meditative exercises you employ. Double-in, double-out is a great builder of lung strength. In turn this strengthens your relaxation after the double-out exhalation. This breathing technique is a good beginning to your meditation exercise because it prepares your body with oxygen and starts your relaxation. Reduce and eliminate stress through breathing techniques, an important part of your meditation series exercises.
